Heather Gardiner, Manager

Queen Bee of the Morristown Running Company.

Hall of Famer at alma mater, Central Connecticut State.  Pete Rose and Mark McGwire were on the ballot, but Heather was an overwhelming winner in the vote.

Champion of many a race in NJ, Central Park and the entire region, experienced marathoner, excellent coach and group run coordinator.

Race director of St. Patty's 5k, which has become a huge favorite each year in its few years of existence.  Co-Creator of Superhero Half-Marathon which will become a monster success in its debut this May.

Ryan Grote, also Manager

Brooks Ambassador and King of the Grote Poll (www.grotepoll.com)

Griller and consumer of tubular meats.  Competitively retired, but still compulsed to run a fair amount.  Full of longwinded stories about background at Bernards HS and The Wall with guys like Lear and Coach Vig, college stories from 3 schools.  Big fan of alma mater U. of Portland, as well as Jets, Yanks, and Formula 1.  Very trail savvy master of the woods of Jockey Hollow, Lewis Morris, and so on.  Some may remember from a dozen or so years at store owned in Bedminster.  Very happy to be working with great people at The Running Company.  Contact with questions about runs, training and so on:   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Jason Jaksetic

Ironman triathlete and total hottie.

Two-time Kona qualifier in the Ironman.  Currently training like a single guy with a pretty open schedule, high motivation and lots of free...that is, a crapoload.  Peak race is IM Louisville.  Jason may also opt to get his pro card this year once he's unleashed himself on a few races.  Clear a path.  Pick his brain about music if you see him around and not on his bike.  Jason, like Grote, is also a firm believer that Macho Nacho is infinitely superior to Tito's Burritos.  Ms. Gardiner disagrees...but she is from Canada...

CATHY GROTE

Wife of Ryan, Mother of Fred.  Quite helpful on Sunday afternoons, usually stops by with the aforementiond Fred to purchase Sport Beans for him during the week.  Parental tip...even if you run out of other beans DO NOT give a 3- year-old the caffeinated "Extreme" beans...even if its only 2 o'clock in the afternoon.  Cathy has many under her proverbial belt...several marathons include a win at Wineglass and 2nd place at Steamtown a few years back.  She is an alum of Somerville HS, in their Hall of Fame, and was an All-American at The College of New Jersey.
